Lily Bobek, a native New Yorker and graduate of Binghamton University with a BFA, finds creative sanctuary in her studio on Bainbridge Island, WA. Her artwork evokes vibrant worlds and reflections filled with colors and dimensions—her paintings can feel both familiar and dreamlike, peaceful yet evocative. She likes to think of each piece as an invitation for you to wander in and find your own meaning.

“Living in the Pacific Northwest is very inspiring and greatly influences my work. The shifting light, water, and landscapes around me constantly spark new ideas and directions. I usually start with an intention, but I let the process evolve naturally, balancing control with spontaneity as the painting takes shape intuitively.

I’m deeply drawn to color and the emotions it can hold. I enjoy creating work that can feel serenely tranquil but alive with luminous energy—something that can be both calming and capture your imagination. I love bringing my visions to life and sharing them.”
